About

Diceroll Press was formed in July 2024 by Sam Allport, Amy Harrison and Lewis Cooper, three friends and flatmates eager to create a new platform to bolster the creative work of unpublished writers and artists from around the world.

Diceroll is a micro press seeking to publish exciting new speculative and literary fiction by up-and-coming writers.

Our first publication, Diceroll Magazine Issue One, released in May 2025.

Our Team

Sam Allport

Co-Founder, Editor-In-Chief

Sam is an experienced writer and editor based in Hertfordshire, with an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and an MA in Screenwriting. His short fiction has previously been published in Swim Press and he was the executive editor of Flash Literary Journal, and the creative writing editor of SCAN: Student Comment and News. He now works as a copywriter and digital production assistant. He particularly enjoys speculative and slipstream fiction, and his favourite authors are Anna Kavan, Ottessa Moshfegh, Kurt Vonnegut and Alex Garland.

Amy Harrison

Co-Founder, Editor

Amy is an aspiring publisher with an undergraduate degree in History and an MA in Publishing. Through this course, she gained hands-on experience across all areas of the industry. She is particularly passionate about production, having overseen the creation of a beautiful poetry pamphlet, where she managed multiple authors, and handled the printing, binding, and overall production process. One of her greatest achievements was being selected to present her original children’s book concept in a competition at the renowned Bologna Children’s Book Fair, securing second place. Her favourite genres of writing are anything exploring unhinged female protagonists or delving into dark, melancholic themes.

Lewis Cooper

Co-Founder, Art Director

Lewis is an Animation and Illustration graduate from Birmingham, UK. With multiple projects currently in development, he has been drawing all his life and animating for over three years. He loves both dearly!
